The club was officially constituted on April 1, 1914 and chartered by Rotary International on May 1, 1914, with Jim Ryan as its first president. The club is the 113th chartered worldwide and the 8th in Canada. This club belongs to Rotary District 5360 which extends from the British Columbia border east to Swift Current, Saskatchewan and from the 49th parallel north to Ponoka, Alberta. With 312 members this is the largest club in Canada.
