Surrounding People in Comfort
The Kahanoff Conference Centre (KCC) is " business comfortable". It is spacious and relaxed, and easily accommodates groups of eight to 250. Our facility is know for is calm surroundings, modern design and warm natural light.
The heart of the KCC is a large foyer (3,168 sq. ft.), an inviting area where guests can be welcomed and hosted in a casual or formal style. Wrapping around the foyer is a coat room, washrooms, a kitchen serving area, the conference centre administration offices, and six flexiable meeting rooms.
Room 201 - Our largest meeting room (1,650 sq. ft.) can host 150 people at a reception or seat 110 people theatre-style, 54 people classroom-style or 70 people at round tables. Three double doors open onto the foyer; the west end of the room is wall-to-wall windows.
Room 202 - At 621 sq. ft., this room can accommodate 18 people around a large boardroom table, and 10 more seated bench-style. Windows face west and north.
Room 203 & 204 - These mirror-image rooms can each seat 20 people theatre-style, 14 people at round tables, 14 to 16 around a boardroom table or 15 people in a circle of chairs. The north-facing windows provide excellent views of the Calgary Tower.
Room 206 - A highly efficient corner room perfect for groups of eight to 10 people. This north-facing retreat offers an excellent view of the Calgary Tower.
Room 207 - Our most private meeting area faces south and can seat 15 people theatre-style, 12 people at a boardroom table, or 10 people in a circle of chairs.
To control lighting, all rooms are equipped with motorized and manual window blinds. In addition, all meeting room chairs are ergonomically designed.
